Education stakeholders have continued to appreciate the Basic Education Commissioner, Prof . Kate Azuka Omenugha and Managing Director of ABS, Chief Uche Nwora, for coming up with the proactive initiative, Anambra Teaching on Air, to keep Anambra State’s students ready for examinations.
The stakeholders including the Chairman PPSSC, Lady Ifeoma Okaro, PPSSC Secretary, Mrs Ngozi Onuora, Members of the Commission for Ogidi and Otuocha zones, Dr Ngozi Agbasimalo and Chief Joe Enemuo, SSA to the Governor on Primary Education/Deputy Chair PPSSC, lady Pat Offia, SSA Secondary School Monitoring, Dame Chinyere Mbakwe, while appreciating Commissioner Omenugha, for bringing her wealth of experience as a professor of Mass Communication, to bear in preparing the teachers for the task, commended Mr Kenneth Nweke, the teacher who took the first lesson in the series. One of the contributors Mr Amos O called for the continuation of the program even after the corona virus pandemic.
In their separate reactions, Commissioner Omenugha thanked the stakeholders for their contributions and welcomed suggestions for the improvement of the program, while Chief Uche Nwora appreciated the team of ABS engineers who made the broadcast possible. He promised better reception in subsequent outings, as his men are strategizing to overcome all challenges. Meanwhile the second in the series of lessons to be delivered in the Anambra teaching on air comes up today by 1pm, with Mrs Nkoli Agbata taking the students in Mathematics.
